Hello everyone.
This is my first Myrtle and I'm not sure what's going on. The leaves are closed up on one side.
I'm not overwatering or underwatering as I have many trees and I've had trees for a long time now.
Maybe bugs?

Could be root-bound, from the looks of what I see in the pot. Crapes are super rooters, you don't want to let them go too long without a good root-pruning. Makes it tough for them to get water and nutrients.

Someone told me it's wind burn. It makes sense since about a week ago we had a bad wind storm with cold.

Someone told me it's wind burn. It makes sense since about a week ago we had a bad wind storm with cold.

Wind burn would manifest itself with dried tips of otherwise dark green and healthy leaves. Additionally wind burn would be seen on the outer leaves, while the inner protected leaves would still be healthy.

Your symptoms (as I seem them in the photo) pale foliage & leggy, weak growth, with some parts of the tree showing greater issues than others.

My first guess would be root problems. Crepe myrtles are the strongest things growing on my bench - as long as their roots are not crowded so they strangle / choke themselves off. It almost looks like it is planted in a plastic bag(?) Make sure to investigate the roots and soil (taking it out of the current pot) and make sure it is neither sitting in stagnant water, or that the bottom roots are drying out because they can't get access to water/nutrients.

It's in a plastic pot. Is it too late to repot or should I just slip pot into something bigger?

I also see a lot of new growth.
