Hi Folks,
Here are a few photos of our 5th annual show - Our Club is very small but attendance to our show seems to be going up every year - it was estimated that we had over 5-600 go through in just over 6 hours.
The trees may look a little rough but this is the wrong time of year for us to have "show" ready trees.
The large Mountain Hemlock at the entrance of the garden was heavy = 8 hands.
Can't beat the location - a local arts council cottage garden, that backs onto the ocean with a spectacular view of Discovery passage, Quadra Island (Cape Mudge lighthouse) and cruise ship? (on the Alaskan Cruise Ship route).
First of 2 posts. Small tree in last photo = Sitka Spruce on Limestone.
Cheers
Graham

CRBC 5th Annual Show #2

Here are two trident maples (both older imports), a western red cedar (yamadori), a yamadori literati shore pine, and a mountain hemlock.

Thanks for these! That big Mountain Hemlock is extraordinary.
That tree belongs to Peter Wilson and its one of his medium sized trees L.O.L. He has an extraordinary collection of native yamadori.
Here's a photo of his truck being loaded and a couple more of the trees, a Hm scene and an ancient Yellow Cedar (Alaskan Cedar).
