So recently I went to visit a friend on his farm to go a have a look at his bonsai. Whilst walking around I found out that he is starting to sell bonsai stock too. So I asked him to show me what he has (Always on the lookout for new project). I found this little Crepe-Myrtle and its trunk movement and flower colour just spoke to me and I had to have it.

So now I need to decide on what I believe to be the future front and possible style. I really love literati and I think there is a possibility of that.

By changing the angle slightly and keeping the pads small, it could work?

This is another angle that could possibly work making it look slightly windswept literati? (is that a style?)

Lets hear those thoughts.

You have some great movement in the trunk. I like the second picture the best, "windswept literati". I would work that as my front and refine the tree from there.

I dig that one too....

But with only the low foliage.
