Cryptomeria black dragon

Does anybody know where to get prebonsai/stock material of cryptomeria? I really like examples of forests made out of this and I think I would like to put something together.

This species is a tough find. I don't know of any bonsai specific nurseries that carry it. I'd call around local nurseries to see if they have any stock.

try Meehan's Miniatures in Rohrersville, MD. I was there yesterday observing a workshop by Owen Reich and some of the material was a cryptomeria of some sort. About a foot tall, and very full, 1/2 to 3/4" trunks.

Tried my regular box stores and nurseries in my area with no luck. I have ordered one online from a regular nursery today. 36 to 48 inch tall. 5 gallon pot. Plan on using it to see how they respond to technique. They make interesting trees with skinny trunks so I might be in luck. Plan on wiring the branches straight out and cut back hard to start the pads. Wanting to make one of these trees.
