Wanted to point out a lesser-known local NE Potter who recently put up some bonsai pots for sale (this morning). The glazes and aesthetic are stunning and I hope he makes more bonsai pots. A few of them are certainly not food safe though and would leach barium and copper

Yeah I agree. Found him on a bonsai pot website but in talking to him realized he hadn’t done bonsai stuff for a couple years but was looking back into it. If the pot shown had been 6” or more it wouldn’t have made it to my post
