My buddy made this awesome tabletop for me. I haven't put a measure to it but I think its about 18 inches in diameter.
Tons of paint coated many times with a clear lacquer.
Its hard to get a good picture without glare from the flash.
Without the flash, its harder to see because it reflects like a mirror.
The colors look better in person.

Now I need to find a good ball bearing swivel base / Lazy Susan to mount it on.
I considered using one from an old bar stool, but its rusty and needs a lot of love....by that I mean work.

Anyone out there ever build your own bonsai turntable or lazy susan or whatever they're called?
I've seen some cheap ones on Amazon, they say 1000lbs rated.
Unless someone has a better suggestion, I'll probably go with that.

ROFL yeah they need some work! I tend to grab any lazy-susan I see that's grab-able, whether that's tossing a swivelling chair into my truck bed or a swivelling recliner, it's just a habit I get them / break them down / trash everything but the lazy susan, have a bunch of extras lol :D Bar stools are nice because sometimes you can just spray-paint them, cut the legs to have spiked/angled bottoms, and stick them in the ground and have a ready-to-use turn-table display, I have 2 of these and can just spin the trees anytime I want (not just when working on them, when working on something I don't have anything special I just grab a lazy susan and put the container on it on top of my work-table ;D

Good luck, the more of these in a garden the better IMO! They're a life-saver when trying to be efficient doing a styling-job on something, and they're neat.as.hell when actually in-garden/in-display allowing you to spin things where they live!!

Just realized I never finished this thread....
I had these 2 pieces of rough cuts and mounted it to them via bearing mechanism.
I got an 18" clear plastic circle and stuck little rubber feet to it to protect the finish.
Been using it for a while......so glad I never actually put a pot on the surface.....its too nice.
