Hey Sam...is the black basket in the background of the one in the white basket...the same one shown but backside. Of the one you shared in a black basket? It looks rather...interesting.

do you have a pic before potting them? (what do these look like under the soil level)

this is completely new to me... I never knew a cutting that thick could root well.

Good to know! I might just reduce my bougie instead of chopping it down.

I must ask...have I seen your bougainvillea? As most know...I love Bougie's. I looked back at your posted threads...seen nothing mentioning them. So I do ask...if you could...create a post on your bougainvillea please. :eek:

This are all from cuttings taken this year...already flowering:
no rooting hormne...sand...and onion rubbed on them.

Pixie is 100% to root...the normal ones a bit harder...the ones on the previous page 20cm diameter are the normal....common bougie...it is grabra or grabla...

Those are massive!
any ideas on timing? I am kinda confused... I thought hardwood for winter, softwood for summer with leaves.

I might go this weekend or the next and get some pics!

A neighbour has a bougainvillea that has almost no green leaves. Do bracts do photosynthesis? Or how will this root? Do they come out later?
