Structural pruning; Can it be done in fall or am I best served to let it be until spring? They have had two growing seasons allowed to grow unchecked in containers. They will likely be in need of a repot this spring whether I like it or not.

I'd let it be until spring. May have two growing seasons, but winter isn't one of them. Hard pruning wounds now will sit unhealed for months in cold weather, which can lead to drying out and die back behind the cut.

That's all I needed to hear, lol. Much appreciated!
