I posted a bit ago a pic of one of my MCs where a portion of the trunk has died... I'd like to treat with Lime Sulfur to preserve the wood however I have never used before. Did some research and many brands popped up.
Wondering if any of you could recommend a brand.
Tree in question.... Thanks!

Source... why is that?
Should I let go for awhile? Never used before.

☝️ I heard you answer your questions!

Trees don't know why we do what we do to them.
Sometimes they disagree with our actions.

Lime sulfur won't prevent that wood from rotting. Honestly, your best bet would be some kind of wood hardener, and the fact that the dead wood is in contact with the soil will probably make it a moot point... that wood's going to rot away at the soil line regardless, I suspect.

Understood… I am hoping that the tree may decide to grow over the deadwood at some point… Was just hoping to save some for structure. LOL perhaps I am overthinking.
I like your idea of wood hardener.

Many places LS illegal(toxic)to have or sell these days. Why bother?
