This was the mark on the bottom of a pot that I purchased recently. Can anyone provide any information?

Thanks for the resource, Brian. Very interesting. I took a quick look and didn't see this character, then I realized that I don't even know the correct direction, I may have photographed it upside down, so I plan to look again a little more carefully.
 
I've had the same problem. Maybe someone who understands the marks will jump in...?
 
The top is the left side in your photo.
 
Yes...rotate it to the right. the character on the bottom right is 泉 which is read izumi and possibly the combination on the right is 造策...but it is not clear. These are all guesses by the way as it Script in this style can be difficult.

I hate trying to read Reisho script......give me a couple days as I have to work on customer scrolls this week...BTW here is one I just finished putting the Souurauchi on where the customer sent me the artwork...I thought it was pretty cool in that it is an Ukiyo-e style with a Star Wars Theme...
