I just bought 2 blue pots this week from Chuck Iker. I needed one for a trident maple that i will repot next spring and i just thought the second one was really nice. I'll find something to go in it. Probably a crape myrtle. Nothing wrong with blue pots at all.

My First Mallsai(tm) was in a turquoise blue/green pot. It was broken during a move. The starter blue pot I do own was picked up for a couple of dollars. I'm colourblind, so I tend to be drawn more towards blues and yellows as they are more vivid to me.

Well, there's blue and then there's blue. Not all blue pots are bad.

There's cheap Chinese pot blue (usually highly glazed an a bit of an electric blue) and then there's the more subdued blue glaze of an artisan-made pot.

Actually, I have been looking for a very particular blue glazed pot
for like two years. I will end up having to have it made. But I
have been putting off looking 'in earnest' until the azalea "knits"
with the stone and needs something in which to stand.
