I was looking for DIY PVC plans for a backdrop stand and ran across using digital light sheds instead. These are small 6-sideded cubes of translucent cloth material housing for photographing small and medium products that can be lit with daylight, and artificial lighting. They would appear to be better than using a stand with material draped down with the bonsai sitting toward the front.

So does anyone use these digital light sheds?

I use light tents, but not light sheds.

Thanks for the reply Ryan. Shed or Tent I guess depends on the manufacturer. Would you buy yours again? What size is it and how do you normally use it?

I have one of these. They are also called "photo tent(s)". I have one of the larger ones (48") and I use it primarily for ebay photos. In that regard it's superb (and very popular amongst ebayers). It allows me to set up my lighting and tripod ONCE and paired with my remote shutter release it's very efficient at churning out consistent, high quality, photos.

I could ramble on about it... what other questions did you have?
