My trees are well on their way to bonsai. But not there yet. I did not remove the sacrefice branches, the trees must gain weight. So I'm withdrawing from this competition. But it was fun and I'm curious about the result of other competitors!
I would still submit a photo... it doesn't matter what your tree looks like, really - just that you were able to grow a black pine from a seed and keep it alive six years :)

Plus let me just say... the trees look very different from each other. They are definitely not all cookie cutter.

I'm kind of happy with this one. But no ramification of branches yet, trunk stil to thin, so cutting the present sacrifice branche would set me back for a couple of years.
First years of development should have been dedicated to growing roots and trunk. To soon my trees were transferred into smal pots.
I just ordered jbp-seed again. I wil just try again!
