My wife and myself made a tour of the Mountains late this summer. We concentrated on Colorado and the South West. First of all we got chased out of Colorado by the weather, missing the flooding by eight hours. As exciting as that was we managed to salvage portions of our trip, which brings up the Yamadori trees and we saw a lot of them.

Juniper: Possibly RMJ but could also be Utah Juniper. It stands under four feet tall. The rest speaks for itself.

That is an incredible tree. Just put it in a pot and put it in an exhibition. :D

Beautiful! Looks just like a Dan Robinson tree planted in the ground!

Sweet baby Juniper! Was this in a location where you can bring this home?

I wish----probably not legal and too many people. It was in Canyon Land, in a scenic over look across from The Monitor and the Merrimack.

Here are a couple of additional shots of the same tree.
