My normal Chinese Elms get scale on a regular basis, even the cuttings from last year already get them, but I havent seen any on Seijuu.
As for Jacqueline Hillier (regardless of if its a parvifolia), I cant say because theyre still young. Didnt have any scale yet I think but I heard of one that had spider mites.
I know there are other varieties of Ulmus Parvifolia too, how do they hold up?

Im currently thinning the herd so the scale situation factors into whether I get rid of my Tibetan Elm or not. It didnt have any scale yet.

Scale generally aren't fussy and can attack most species

Get rid of the others!

Or keep em to keep the scale off other stuff.

You gotta eliminate it, once you do, it shouldn't be a sustained problem.

Centipedes in the soil for certainty!

Some folks spray with no knowledge of wether it reaches all the eggs....

I send intelligent life into the soil to make sure.

It works way better!
