Do these buds on a couple single flush pines look good for repot?

Too late or just right for repot from native or nursery soil. First one is a collected pinus contorta in native soil and not sure what the second tree is exactly but it is in nursery soil.

Specially for them since they aren't putting energy into new growth at that time, they can focus on roots.

That way you have all of fall and winter for crosstalk to tell the top what happened.

Cutting the roots in the middle of a crosstalk conversation is kinda like
