Definitely, almost any tree has potential, just need to study it, work on it and visualize the art piece you want to make.

Flowering quince thicken VERY slowly. The second one my have a clearer trunk line but will still look the same in 5 years.
The first will at least give a good trunk base to build on if you can find one or more compatible trunk lines in all that wood.
