Drake's bald cypress

Picked up this bald cypress (I guess it's a clump?) twin trunk at the nursury today so I thought i would start a thread. Dug down in the soil and it looks like two separate trunks with ok nebari....I would like to keep these guys together like they are. Looks super healthy to me, just need to get it in a tray of water as its super hot down here right now. Also a crazy amount of roots g

BC grow crazy fast, not sure how keeping them together would work. What style are you going for?

To be honest, I don't have a plan yet, it was an impulse buy. I was just going to try to keep them healthy for a year or so while I decided. I am definitely open for suggestions! If separating them would be better then I will

Typically groupings are done with an odd number of trees, not even. If you want to keep them together you could keep one trimmed more than the other and let the other grow out for a mother-daughter bonsai? Just a thought.
