Went back to a spot that I collected oaks because saw that it was full of l lantana. Not the best movement but loved the bark and hope to build something from the bare bones.

Wasn't really liking that straight part so thought that it would be best to do the hard chops now and let the tree decide what he wants to give me. These are strong but hopefully not too much. I've popped him into the greenhouse and will keep an eye

Cool stump!
Is the Lantana invasive in your area?

Not sure if they're invasive in Israel but I remember that back in South Africa they were. So it's kinda weird for me turning a "weed" into a bonsai. But I really like the flowers and would like something that grows fast while the rest of my tree's are growing and developing

I love the idea of invasive bonsai! Eradicating them for bonsai is brilliant!
I’m working on some invasive Buckthorn here in Minnesota.
good luck!
