Hi everyone,

I have a problem which I really have no clue on what to do. I've lost a tree recently - Pemphis and my second one is starting it seems. I don't know what to do, everything is status quo - didn't touch, repot, just trimmed maybe but that's all.

Clumps of leaves start wilting - they're still green but wilting then just fall off.

Is this an issue of watering or a disease. Please help. I think at this stage it is still saveable but it won't last long if it continues...really need help :(

It happens in clumps so you will see some leaves doing well some not...

You might be better off asking someone over at the Internet Bonsai Forum...
Not many here, if any, are going to be able to help give advice for your tree.
Most here are from the USA, and we don't have these here, wish we did, for
They seem to be really awesome material to work with.

You might also get in touch with Robert Stevenson, he does a lot with these.
Good luck!!!

I am by no means an expert, but I have heard that they need a mist of salt water daily to simulate their natural ocean environment. Do you do that to it now? If not, perhaps that might help?

Thank you so much for the advice on posting in IBC

I do 3 salt water mistings a week.

Sincerely,
