I was browsing Ebay this evening and came across this stunning shohin black pine that can be yours for only $94.99. Darn, I shouldn't have told y'all. Now someone will beat me to it.

That curly right bar branch is a sight to behold, but my favorite is the apex that is thicker than the base.

Alas, upon further inspection, it's not a shohin after all.

I think this is Charlie Browns Christmas tree... that he cut down to make himself a bonsai...

either that black pine is in a gold lined pot, or it's one very overpriced tree!

*whif* *whif* *whif*

I smell an Al Keppler Signature Shohin here....

Check this out in notes:

Trees upon arrival might have leaves/flower buds fallen off or turned slightly brown. This is a natural result of being in the box during the the shipping period. It does not mean the Bonsai is unhealthy nor it is harmful to the tree.

Wonder how brown it will get.....

Usually one has to stand off and shoot road apples with a shotgun to understand and appreciate the expletive this horticultural masterpiece evokes.

Someone hasn't mastered the obvious or subtleties of creating beauty. It's like the art projects my kids brought home when they didn't even try.

If they pay ME $5. I will first remove the "well wiring" job. Then plant the tree in the park, wish it well and come back in 10 years to see how it is doing.

Love the reverse taper on top of everything else. Also, the masterful loop dee loop branch on the right.;)

That pine is just laughable. Ive found better material at Home Depot for half that price.

What's crazy is every once in a blue moon he sells one and makes a killing. Goes back to Lowes grabs another and does it again. Got to admire a man with a hustle. That man can sell a ketchup popsicle to a women in white gloves

Thank you very much; that was the best one line funnies I have hear around here in years, descriptive too.

Roller coaster branching ... nice!! And it really takes a lot of skill to get reverse taper in a tree so young
