Many of you who know me, know that I LOOOOVE Elaeagnus (so do the rabbits 🤬)!

There are MANY MANY here, MOST relatively interesting, actually. Not to mention ENCOURAGED to dig by DNR.

My problem is finding a DECENT-moving, more Single-trunk design.. most large specimens that I run across are 3+ trunked... So I knew I would be searching for a smallER trunk (1.5-2") and developing from there. I was not worried, these bastages grow FAST.

Here it is, "Blip!"

...will prune HARDER in mid-summer if excessive vigor is noted... if not, plan is made for Spring '23.
