elements of spring

Today in the pacific NW, the clouds are overcast and filled with rain. waterfalls that were frozen are running now. Most of the trees have leafed out and nests formed from the wet grass and mud are being filled with eggs. A sure sign that sun and warmth are but the last of spring's presence to arrive.

Two days ago the high here was 37 and solid rain. Today? Seventy and sunny.
