Its budding well after its fall out of its pot, Here is a better image of it with a proper camera. Next plan is to plan what needs to go next spring :) DSCF0967.jpg

@Nanuk yes it seems happy, I'm happy to have it in better soil too :) it's going to pop in a couple weeks I'm sure :) exciting

Brian is bang on. That huge gap would last days, this tree will grow like crazy.
@Wilson this tree just had repot after falling and imported from Japan this year I think that big chop will stress it out

Looks good. I only see one shoot I’d be tempted to remove because it’s so much heavier (stronger) than the others.

I doubt that Elm would even notice. As Wilson said that gap will be covered in a few weeks.
Elms are some tough trees. But then again it is YOUR tree.

Oh yes it has a buddy now Haha a little elm that has already started to leaf out ;-)
