I have an American elm that could use some root grafts. Anyone aware of a place to purchase American Elm whips?

I might need to take cuttings this year (@choppychoppy suggested) and use. But I’d love to just purchase instead.

Another thought is using Chinese elms, which are plentiful. Anyone have success with Chinese elm root grafts on other types of of elms?

A few pix of the tree in question.

Unfortunately, I suck at taking cuttings!!

You know what would suck more?

Ending up with a $60,000 Deciduous tree that you can't sell for $20,000 cuz a this one root.

You could try using roots like @markyscott did his elm.
Bare root it by the light of a full moon and get to plugging.
