Nice work! This might just be photo perspective, but do you intend to grow the low right branch out/down further? Right now the bottom plane of foliage looks to be very flat, i.e. the lower left and lower right foliage is at about the same level. WWRS?

The lower right branch did end up a little lower, but I agree, it still looks kind of flat in the photo. With that lower left branch gaining strength, I’m actually considering making that the defining branch in the next major restyling, further reducing and compressing the right side and turning apex to the left.

Enjoying watching the progress on this one. What do you find the best time of the year is for creating deadwood for spruce? Fall or spring prior to bud pop?
