I may acquire this European Euonymus (picture from last fall). Any suggestion on possible future looks do-able for this tree? Perhaps curving the upper trunk back towards the base, or instead curving the trunk away from the base, as in an S-shape?

Thanks,

jim

Looks like tree from Don Blackmond. You won't be disappointed. Nice tree's, nice guy!

do you know if there is an issue with leaf size with this species?

Maybe ask Don?

Well since that's an old picture, it'd probably be best to wait to see what branches currently exist before giving any styling advice.

any updated photos? I have one of these trees from Don also and am unsure of how to proceed with new spring growth. Shoots are very straight vertical and wiring this early would surly break them off at the trunk. Thinking broom?? dunno
