You should consider authoring a book, could be a pocket size paperback handbook type of publication....entitled, "Busting Bonsai Myths for the 21st Century."
I'd buy a few copies.
See the book "Modern Bonsai Practice", which I believe Walter was involved in.

Michael Hagedorn is coming out with one very similar called Bonsai Heresy: Myths of Common Bonsai Practice. Believe to be available this fall;). Cannot wait.

My 1st photo is of the Amur Maple I started with and my 2nd photo shows some surface carving I have done....
I'm thinking of taking my Moto Dremel with a small cutting bit to the Center portion of the Trunk in order to get the Deeper Natural look of a Hollow Trunk...
Thr Trunk measures 2" across x 5" High, I want to go right down the middle for about 1/4" to 3/8" width to start with and see how it looks....Whada ya think ?
