Hi!

Alter i repotted my tree into inorganic soil i've noticed that roots are growing on the surface of the soil. Should i do something with this or just let it grow as it is?

I'll be very grateful for your response.

Leaving them alone will certainly not hurt anything. Assuming you have other roots below you can also cut them off. It's only an aesthetic choice.

Thank you for your answer :)

I'm not going to do anything with them for now. And how about roots going out through the holes under the pot? What you usually do with them? Probably it also doesnt hurt the tree as those on the surface so... ;-)

Many ficus are happy to grow aerial roots if the humidity is high enough. It is one of the adaptations that makes them successful in the high humid rainforests where most grow naturally. You can cut them off if they grow where you don't want or use them to add character or to add to the nebari around the trunk if you want. Aerial roots growing from trunk or branches will thicken the tree at the point they are growing from so take care you don't get reverse taper.
I would just snip off any that grow out the holes under the pot. If that one thickens up it could be quite difficult at repotting time.

Ficus are notorious for growing roots either below the surface or on the trunk. They need regular root pruning if your pot is small (at least once a year). If you need aerial roots, increase the humidity around your plant.
