the option of going to the unsecured site quit popping up. This happened when I was in a hotel in DC.
This is due to a change in browsers, versus anything directly having to do with the site. For security purposes, browsers really want all web site owners to use Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) (the secure version of HTTP). You can tell the difference when you look up in your address bar - you should see a little green padlock icon, and the site address should start with "https" as in "
https://www.bonsainut.com". We upgraded to https a while ago, but some people may still be using old bookmarks to
http://www.bonsainut.com. Starting a few months ago Firefox and some of the other browsers started sending people security warning messages if they were going to go to a http site. Is the security warning real? Probably not in 98% of the cases... but it is a way for the Internet community to force the issue and get web sites to clean up their acts.
I have been having some strange issues with traffic forwarding over the last couple of days. The way the site is SUPPOSED to work is if you navigate to the site via an old link or bookmark, the site should forward you to the proper address...
https://www.bonsainut.com.
So check your bookmarks... and make sure they point to
https://www.bonsainut.com and you won't have any problems. Of course, if I can fix the glitches in my address forwarding code, you won't have problems regardless
I am working on it as I type this
