American Larch man, but I can't vote because I don't know whether to choose "Other Conifer" or "Other Deciduous"! LOL

Prunus mume is my choice. They have it all. Flowers, fruit, interesting foliage, great fall pallete and naturaly expresive trunks that put any pine to shame.

At the moment, I would say Lonicera Nitida...

Hard wood, small leaves, small flowers, small berries, survives almost any condition, clippings will root if you leave where they fall, massive root growth, massive foliage growth all season long... what's not to like in that species?

Hello Shohin. I would have to say Shimpaku. Also other junipers and Ponderosas are really growing on me as well.

Not on the list, but I like oaks. Particularly Coast Live Oak.

I have the exact same problem. Hands down, American Larch gets my vote.

It is hard to answer this survey. "Favorite" can mean different things to different people.

For example, I listed my overall favorite as shimpaku due to its ease of care and quick results. However my most favorite master-quality bonsai are not shimpaku, but are either pines or maples. :)

Other deciduous just does not do Hornbeams justice so I refuse to vote :)
