I use a liquid mix fertilizer (maxsea 26-16-16). Im getting ready to repot a spruce, as the buds are beginning to swell. I fertilize once a week since the buds began to wake up (2 weeks ago). I fertilized last weekend. Should I wait to report till next weekend, or would I be good to go now?

Best,

Nick

Nick,

an image would help.

Are you thickening the trunk ?

Or refining your branchlets ?

If refining, check the NPK on oil seed meal.
Get the attention of @Vance Wood .
Good Day

There is no reason to delay repotting because of fertilising. One day or one week will make no difference to the tree.

I'd repot after growth, when they ain't doing nothin' BUT growing roots.

A blow before they grow is a no IMO!

Thanks, Anthony.

This is an initial report of nursery stock picea abies. Thinking I will give it a go, as I don’t want to miss my window of opportunity.

Best,

Nick
