I have just finished fertilizing my citrus trees and looked at its makeup on the bag, always looking for better ways to fertilize my bonsai. How far off the BALANCED fertilizer can you get with bonsai? I just had to feed some chelated iron to my bougainvillea bonsai because of chlorosis indicated on the leaves. I'm wondering about feeding my bonsai using the following citrus fertilizer, which has a higher iron content than my normal fertilizer (which was about .5%) and what it might do. I know that high content of Sulphur might lower the ph. By the way, it is in pellet form. Any comments out there?
