Few of my trees didnt do well after repot. Any chance they can still come back or should I take them out already

Cedar 1
Half bare rooted and moved from nursery bonsai soil and pot, right before buds pushed. It shed a lot of needles and then the new buds also burned, not sure if from sun or repot. I see many bugs that didnt open up, wonder if cedrus lebani is multi flush or if those were activated when buds that pushed died.
Think it's on it's way out or can still recover ?anything I can do to help it ?

Scratch bark low on trees to see if still green. If still green continue care and cross fingers. Green needles continue care, hope for growth eventually;). Personally see evidence foliar feeding helps. If wishing to try this use spray bottle every 4-5 days or so on obviously live parts of tree.

:( That is a sad story to see Maroun.

Besides the question on whether these will live (I think you realiz emost of them won't)... DO a deep searching of what may have gone wrong. Personally if I see the wide range of species I would guess it might be a combination of too rough handling of the roots, in combination with incorrect aftercare.

Can you explain how you went about the repotting?

Very sad indeed.
Cedar 1 came with 7 others from a nursery. It's one of the 2 biggest ones. Came in bad nursery soil. Had it for less than a year before repot and was doing fine. In repot I bare rooted around 60 percent of soil ( aim was less but had to go that much to untangle the circling and elbowing roots) very few roots were damaged and cut couple thick roots that had no fine roots.
One.of the larger trees I chopped then trunk off ( one struggling a bit more)
The other big one also suffered a bit and shredded some needles but not as much as this one. Smaller ones all doing fine so far (big ones reported in april just as buds started pushing) small ones end of may after their new growth hardened.

Chopped top.i plucked in some soil is still.alive weirdly

the other smaller trees all doing well so far with same management during repot and after care ( few days in shade then to partial sun )

Cedar 2 cane with 2 other ones in similar size pots and soil and were all repotted similar to above trees and at same timing. 2 other ones looking good except for a small affected branch on one

Checked with a local grower and he repots all his trees in jan which is weird I gues, cant really make up the difference in trees energy status in winter especially that many recommend repotting in summer even.

Spruce I cut a single.elbowing root and it turned out to hold.most of its roots so understandable cause I guess.
Acer palmatum, cleaned all soil but left around 30 percent of roots intact. Nit a big loss as it's not an important tree or trunk yet was a nice red.

Acer p sometimes get fungal infection. If some bark is black it is dead.
Cedar are well known for shedding needles after repot but often grow back after.

One tree is shedding a lot.of needles but another has all needles on it brown but not shed. Should I take the brown needles off or keep them?

It does not matter if the brown needles stay or go. Those parts are either dead or alive. Removing needles will make no difference to the tree, only to how it looks to you. Your choice.

That seems a good idea.

Most folks in such hot climates Repot in Jan.

It's probably the only truely safe time.
