Hi Everyone, I'm new here and you can help me. I tried asking in a few forums in my country, but didn't get any answers.

2 months ago I bought a ficus ginseng bonsai tree in a supermarket, and then started reading about it, so please don't judge me for that ;)

It was fine at first, but after around a month it started losing leafs. They just dropped while still being green. All the while many new leafs grew. At first I wen't for vacation for a week, and it got a bit dry, but then it didn't stop losing the leafs. It is around 70cm high, and still in a big pot. I'm planning to repot it soon.

I moved it closer to the window (it's winter where I live currently), but no change so far.

A few days ago I noticed that some of the leafs have brownish discoloration (no change in shape or softness/hardness, rubbing finger on that does nothing.

Today I noticed black spots on the leafs, that also aren't removed by rubbing (around 1mm in diameter, flat). On one leaf I noticed black/reddish grain. It's hard, wasn't able to squish it, and doesn't move.

Also on the branches I noticed a few black spots. I removed one, it's hard, around 1mm in diameter, wasn't able to squish it.

That's all I noticed.

Do you have any ideas what could be wrong with my tree? Is it watering, are these some pests?

thanks!
Mirek

Looks a bit like cold damage....but if it was there before moving it closer to the window, it may be overwatered.

Soil pics?

Drainage holes?

No drainage in this pot unfortunately. I had problem with mildew developing on the surface of soil (iguess it was mnildew, white stuff), but it is gone now. I water only when the soil is dry

Not a expert by any means and I'm sure your problem could be a number of things but I know that not having any drainage is gonna create all sorts of issues and I'm sure that's what vets are gonna say too so I'd start there.
