Last year @Hartinez was kind enough to send me a few of these cuttings, I honestly thought I lost them because something happened when I moved into this new place and all my trees nearly died, some actually did. Anyway, they didn’t grow much but are still alive except for one.

When I got them..

I haven’t done much other than water and remove the wire holding them in the pots so it wouldn’t cut into the bark, it did anyway, I was a little late to do it. The one in the bigger pot is a root over rock he started, the roots definitely grew. Some spots held on to the rock others still needed time so I wrapped it again about a month back and stuck it back into a pot. The other two I just cut back a little. The die back is quite unpredictable with these, maybe I’ll get the hang of it this season. Thanks again, @Hartinez

And these are the 2 smaller ones that survived.

Hey awesome!! It’ll be cool to see how they do for you in FL! I imagine by midsummer your going to be constantly cutting them back. The dieback should be minimal unless they are heavily stressed. With that said though, they are so tough to kill. Glad they are looking good for you!!

Also. Your priorities are on point. Family first always. Raising kids is no joke and I swear you’ll find a balance. I’ve got 3 and I often do my styling in the evenings after the kids go to bed. Or early in the morning. My wife is also good about me taking 15/20 minutes each day after work to do my thing. Watering etc.

I have a lovely one also gifted to me so kindly by @Hartinez . It's done great under the lights all winter, can't wait to get it back outside.
