the leaves have reduced nicely and the tree looks super healthy...
what's the tape for? are you trying to fuse the aerial roots to the trunk?

I grafted two new back branches. I selected scions that had aerial roots attached, drilled a small hole and inserted the shoot. The idea is that the aerial roots will keep the scion alive until the graft is established. To keep the roots moist, I applied sphagnum moss. The taps is still moly holding the sphagnum in place.

Fabulous tree. Burt Davyii is my favorite ficus and this one is inspirational.
