ficus cutting after 2 weeks

i thought this was quite amazing



i was trimming back a ficus retusa about 2 weeks ago and didn't have time to pot all the cuttings so i wrapped this one in sphagnum moss and tin foil and left it in the shade and pretty much forgot about it. today i checked and look at all those roots!

so i just potted it in some soil

it will make a nice whip for a graft into something

Very nice. I have rooted a couple tops I cut off of some mallsai ficus without even using hormone, but now I'm wondering how much further along they'd be if I had used sphagnum moss.
