Ficus ID and Styling

I have had this Ficus bonsai for nearly a year. I was told it was about 4 years old, but the seller could not tell me if it was a Ficus retusa or microcarpa. Any ideas?

Also, I would like to know what style should I use now that it is an older tree?

Pretty sure you have a F. Retusa based on the bark. Retusa bark generally has the white marks on it as it appears to be on yours. The curved trunk says it wont be a formal upright, but certainly informal upright is within the scope of possibility.
