So I bought this mallsai ficus microcarpa (30$), though I have no experience with them. I think it will give me no problems in the horticultural side. My climate is good for tropicals and I plan to keep it outside all year long.

I've repotted it first (soil was awful) , but I'm stuck on the overall design. I've been thinking of chopping some branches, but I have yet no clear plan....
Also, as I like aerial roots, I would like to increase them. Toughts?

Best way to see your design is to just spend some time with it. Ficus are pretty limitless in what you can do. I’m a big fan of sketching out on paper simple designs that look good to my eye, and go from there.

Aerial roots come with humidity healthy growth and constricted roots.

welcome!
