I hate my iPad sometimes. Those first pictures were March 2019 not 2020. I can’t edit it.

Nice one year progression. I like the pot it is in right now. The blue & dark colors are attractive. I would not change pots unless you feel the current pot is too small. If you go with a rectangle, maybe find a rectangle with a colorful glaze. So many Ficus are in dull and uninspired pots.

As to editing a post, BNut website only allows 15 minutes, to edit, then the post is "permanent".

Today's the first day I realized you might not live in SW Florida! OkOk.ok...checked.

I think you should cut it back Further.

In SWF you can have this rebuilt shortly.

Operation cut the Dongs off.

Capture+_2020-08-23-08-52-23.png

You can have all those branches back, only more interesting and with taper, in a couple few years.

I think the pot is too loud, but it may be just the red soil needs covering.

I have always thought I didn‘t go far enough when I first got it. But I’ve been worried about having new scars to heal. Plus once the chopping process begins, it’s hard to stop. So I contemplated it for a while.

I’ve got new scars to heal. But they will be covered up by the canopy anyhow. Kind of starting over but it’s better for the long run. I’ll leave it in this pot for a few years, by the time it’s ready for a new one it should be very nice.
plus the cuttings I took should turn out well too.

Marked safe from tropical storm Eta. So far anyhow. 42 days after chopping. 2 out of the three cuttings made it too.

I tried to use two cameras with one zoomed in. It didn’t work. But it’s a 3 weeks update.

How did the experiment with the cuttings turn out? Did the two that made it have a better nebari? Also..the tree is looking awesome!

I repotted one of them in November. I haven't looked at the other root ball yet. I get the idea they will turn out nice. And thanks.
