My ficus natal has new growth with red leaves. It is pretty neat! Apparently it doesn't happen often, especially with growing indoors. I guess my 10,000 lumens for 16 hours a day is doing it well!

You don't know red leaves until you own a Ficus ingens. Willow Leaf Ficus has bright red growth when given enough light. Natalensis, not so much.

I chopped on of my willow leafs back somewhat recently and all the new leaves are coming in red too.

Something odd is another willow leaf of mine has new leaves that are almost purple. The growing tips are red, the new leaves are purple, and then they eventually turn green.

Here's a picture of red growth on one of my Willow Leaf Ficus. Happy? :D

Here is my natalensis. I was such a noob, and actually taking off the new growth off my weeping fig. They are a more of a bronze color (like Ryan's), and I just thought they were brown and dying/dead leaves. I know better now.

Anyway, pic of the new red natalensis growth. (Doesn't show up great)

I really need to start trying to add ramification to my weeping fig. Their normal leaves are 4 inch long, and it doesn't have much twigginess anyway. I wish it was a weeping leaf fig, but beggars can't be choosers. :)

Here's a close up picture of the new red leaves growing on a ficus I cut back a few weeks ago.

Oddly enough the cuttings I took from the plant have sprouted new leaves, but they're all green.
