A couple of pics of my fig. It was started by planting 5 cuttings together in a pot then transfered to the ground for a couple of years. It has since had lower branch removal. I will post more pics when in leaf.
This species is hardy to about 5 degrees C but not so happy at those temps. I no longer defoliate this tree, just soft pinch.003.JPG

Very nice. You could almost swear it started as 5 seedlings with their bulbous waistlines. Do you think you can achieve finer twigs on this species?

Fine-ish. Not much less than about matchstick thickness I would guess. But as long as there are lots of them!
