Went out and collected two trees from BC Bonsai’s nursery today.

First an English Oak grown in a pot in the ground with BonsI soil for the last three years. Prior to that spent five years in as a field grown tree. About 1 1/2 inch trunk.

Second is a field grown crab apple, grown from seed from a candy apple red variety. I dug this one out and will leave in the pot for one or two years, until it is health.

I will cut it down once health. It has low buds popping.

Sweet! So this the crab that has the three trunks? I can see major fun with that one!

Yes, the three trunk is the crabapple. Supposed to have white to light pink flowers.

I have about two years to see what the buds do before I will chop. Hoping the low ones pop, as that will let me take it way down.
