IMG_4096.JPG Hello,
Im 20 Years old and just got my first tree, I bought it from eBay as I liked the idea that I could manipulate the tree and learn the skill before starting from seed in the future.
Everything is going good, Im happy with the shape and so far looks good, Ive had it for a month now and its growing steadily, with a little plant that sprouted after buying it, (any help with what it is would be great) so I planted it alongside just to see what it turns out to be. Here it is...

I was just wondering if there was any advice on the tree shape, care, and when to cut and allow a thicker trunk etc for a miniature bonsai that Id love to eventually have. Im new to this, so literally anything would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Ben

You should consider removing one of the branch at the top where three branches are connected because it is known to cause inverse taper at that spot if more than two branches connect
