Masterpiece
We winter some of our young trees in cold greenhouses every winter. It can help trees at risk get through the winters.
All other deciduous and coniferous trees are kept outside in sheltered positions from the prevailing wind and sun, dug in and mulched with medium sifted bark. Water before deep freezes.
Our winters rarely get below -12 C though. I think yours are similar. If colder in your location, it’s time to treat your parents to a coffee and ask for use of their cold greenhouse.
