I found this tree buried in the back of a mom and pop nursery. Paid $12. I felt like I was stealing it. I'm still deciding on an overall height. There are a lot of aerial roots on the upper sections of the branches. Not sure if I want to lose those. Thinking I'll keep them.

Hoping to get it in a nice pot next year.

I'll keep the thread updated with its progress. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'd chop it really low, just above the first clump of roots/trunks. Give it sun and heat and it should grow. Now that's something that I would do on the dwarf variety, which this doesn't seem to be. I'm assuming it would respond similarily.

basically banyan style. Pretty much all you can do with these things. That or exposed root single trunk. Whichever way you slice it, it should get brought down way low.
