First image was on June 19th. It has really filled out. Today I’m checking the wiring because some of the wire looks to be biting in.

Pretty sweet base on it! Just my 2 cents, but I feel like it may need to be cut back pretty hard at some point to get the foliage more compact.

Nice ficus!

Nice clump!
First styling is promising.
Just keep in mind that ficus has a different growing habits that differs from other trees.
If you have time on hand I would search for a proper pruning method for ficus especially to build secondary and tertiary ramification and not only maintain a completely build perfectly ramified tree.
Most will cut back two 2 leaves while building the tree, from my point you should cut back to 4 leaves minimum while building the structure.

Have fun!

I’m really still building primary branches but from what I’m seeing it looks like cutting back to 3 or 4 leaves as long as internode spacing isn’t too longbit should back bud and be able to grow secondary branches from those nodes easily. But this tree is still years away from building secondary branches
