Hi all this is my first time styling a Shimpaku. I bought 12 one gal Shimpakus this summer and I was board last night so I gave one a try.
Was going for shohin size, hoping this turns out a awesome as I’m thinking it will down the line. Any input would help as I’ve so only worked with JWP, JM, and Hinoki cypress.

Well done! I like how you used that branch and created taper with a new leader. The movement and pads are really cool. I'm inspired to style some of my own.
