Ah I see, I have abandoned that forum now for a while...
It didn't fall into the pit as things around here tend to do but people kept restating the same ideas. Personally I did not see a problem with any of it. No one was getting angry or bent out of shape. A couple of the moderators were upset about nothing but kept interjecting negative feed back. I came to the conclusion at one point that they really didn't care much for the forum surviving. They were more willing to shut down the only active thread on the site. Does this make any sense to anyone?

I'm more a plastic stick in a pot guy, like this (real) inside juniper:

Repotting is very easy.

I have to giggle a little anytime someone says nincompoop :D

Some more favorites; I can't have just 5 favorites.
Pictures from various blogs and FB pages that I frequent. I save pictures of trees I like in a folder.

First tree is actually penjing from a blog I can't remember at the moment.
Second is Korean Hornbeam.
Third is a Zelkova
Fourth is our very own Eric Schrader's Japanese Black Pine :D
Fifth appearing again is a Japanese maple
